After developing a previous in-house application for the Superbolt divison of NordLock, we were again tasked with conceptualizing a mobile application that their sales-person could use when in front of a potential customer. Thus, the NordLock Prodcut Explorer was born: due to the fact their products are a replacement for OEM parts, we choose to utilize 3D models of machines their cusomters would own, and outline on the machine where their parts can be utilized. Users can select a part, and then view schematics, videos, and detailed information for their specific model of machine - all while exploring a to-scale model in real-time.

We worked closely with NordLock, M.L. Gualtieri Group, as well as a 3rd party 3D modeler to take images, machines, and shcematics and create 3D models that represent their products, and possible applications, in a true-to-life form. Due to the nature of their clients, most sales persons on-location do not have access to WiFi or cellular - which posed a challege for the amount of data this applicaiton handles. We created an offline-sync function that allows the applicaiton to sync 3D models, data, and various other data when online, for use offline later.
